Hooghly Lok Sabha Center MP Lockett Chatterjee met Hooghly District Magistrate Y. Ratnakar Rao in his office to seek speed in development works and work for the benefit of common people. Giving information about the meeting, Lockett Chatterjee said that although it was a courtesy interview with DM of Hooghly, he said that it is the duty of MP as well as DM to work for the common people of Hooghly Lok Sabha Center. He also informed that along with the public welfare schemes of the state government, it is the ultimate duty of the MP as well as the DM to give information about public welfare schemes of the central government as well. Because with the knowledge of these projects, common people can directly take advantage of these schemes. He said that it is not in the interest of the state and central government to do any kind of politics about the projects. She wants to work for the common people of Hooghly. In Hooghly DM’s interview with MP Lockett Chatterjee state BJP secretary Dipanjan Guha, Hooghly Organic District BJP President Subir Nag were also present.
