CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS’ STUDENTS’ NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2019 ORGANIZED BY THE BOARD OF STUDIES OF THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT’S OF INDIA (ICAI)
Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized a 2 days mega conference for its CA Students, in Vidya Mandir auditorium at Kolkata, hosted by the committee of Eastern India Chartered Accountants’ Students’ Association (EICASA)of Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC)of ICAI.
Dignified persons like
- Chief Guest – CA(DR.) Rajesh Kumar (IPS)
- Guest of Honour – CA Atul Kr. Gupta, Vice President were present in the conference followed by speech on different initiatives of ICAI for the betterment of its students by CA Durgesh Kabra, the vice chairman of BOS of ICAI.
These 2 days were full of learning, both technical and practical, fun and enjoyment at the part of both the host and the delegates.
There were 5 technical sessions in this conference discussing about the following topics –
- Corporate Laws.
- Information Technology.
- Auditing.
- Income Taxation.
- Goods & Service Tax.
In the above 5 technical sessions, 14 students participated as paper presenters from all across the country and were assessed by the dignitaries of ICAI. The panel of judges included practicing CAs from and outside Kolkata.
The conference also had different special sessions teaching the students about the real – life skills and enriching their knowledge. The special sessions were addressed by –

By the end of the 2 days event, the students had full of learning along with enjoyment. The credit to the success goes undoubtedly to the whole team of Eastern India Chartered Accountants’ Students’ Association (EICASA)of Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC)of ICAI.
