Meeting of West Bengal primary teacher association with honourable Governor of West Bengal Mr. Jagdeep Dhankar
Delegation of West Bengal primary teachers association of 5 members led by the General Secretary of the organisation Mr Nimai Chandra Mondal met honorable Governor of West Bengal Mr Jagdeep Dhankar ji . Charter of demand were placed before The Honorable Governor like there should be appointment of Head teacher of all primary school which is not prevalent in the primary school of West Bengal.
At present 40% of primary schools having headteacher as wel as other demand like DA & parity of pay scale with other State were also placed.. In response the Honble governor Jagdeep Dhankar ji said that education at primary level should be very functional and effective. He contended no growth of other sectors is possible if the education at the primary level is not properly made operative , functional and effective. Governor assured the delegation that he will go through their Chartered of demand and probe into the matter deeply, afterwards if he act if he feels his intervention is necessary. Charter of demands may be forward to the competent authority that is Ministry of school education.
