G20 Infrastructure Working Group Meets in India to Discuss Urban Infrastructure Investment
The G20 Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) meeting commenced on Tuesday in Visakhapatnam with 63 delegates from 40 countries and international organizations. The two-day meeting will focus on inclusive, flexible, and sustainable financing of cities of the future, as well as various aspects of urban infrastructure investment. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the IWG meeting and interacted with the G20 delegates, while experts gave their advice on the provision of infrastructure to urban dwellers and the need for future investment. The event is being held at the Radisson Blu Hotel and will conclude on March 29. A total of 2,500 police personnel have been deployed to ensure the security of the delegates.
