“Journey Beyond The Spectrum” Advocacy Awareness and Acceptance on the World Autism Awareness Day
Experts from various fields gathered at the “Journey Beyond The Spectrum” event in Kolkata on World Autism Awareness Day, held to address crucial issues related to autism and developmental disorders. The event was organized by Paulami Niyogi Consulting and Nabajatak Child Development Centre, with the objective of creating a barrier-free development and inclusive environment for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Distinguished speakers, including doctors, therapists, researchers, academicians, and social workers, shared their knowledge and research on solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families across the lifespan and spectrum. Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya, a neurodevelopmental pediatrician, emphasized that changing our mindset is the only way to have a better future for people with disabilities.

She encouraged speaking out against discrimination and strengthening the commitment to inclusion for people with autism.
