HDFC Bank Conducts Blood Donation Drives at 7 Branches Across West Bengal
HDFC Bank, a leading private sector bank in India, conducted blood donation camps on December 8, 2023, across seven branches in West Bengal. These initiatives were part of the bank’s 15th-anniversary celebration of its blood donation drives.
The camps were organized at HDFC Bank branches in Bidhannagar, Salt Lake, Ballygunge, Chowringhee, Mangoe lane, Shakespeare Sarani, and Newtown. Both bank employees and the public actively participated in this noble cause.
The inauguration ceremonies were graced by Shri Surutomo Nandiji Maharaj, a spiritual leader from Mangole, and Siddhartha Basak, Head of Channel Cluster, ABCV, who marked the commencement of the blood donation drives.
Supervised by key figures like Pratap Shah, Arup Bhattacharjee, Ashis Kumar Sau, Nishith Jagmohan, Sreenjay Ghosh, Subhangkar Ghosh, and Buddha Vijaya, the blood donation camps aimed to collect donations to aid patients in need.
These initiatives form a part of HDFC Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavors, as the bank has consistently organized such drives for 15 years, accumulating over 1.5 lakh units of blood.
The significant contributions through these drives stand as a valuable endeavor, directly impacting society by saving lives and enhancing the health of those requiring medical support.
