Byers opens front against Emami Real State, raises voice over demand for justice
Kolkata: A counter-protest rally was launched in Dum Dum area of Kolkata on behalf of the Association of Homemade Buyers against Emami Real State. A voice was raised against the real estate owner through the rally. The ignorant buyer will not be fooled. A rally was organized to demand justice. One of the protesters told that in 2011, he gave the Emami Group the first installment to buy a flat in Kolkata. In 2015 there was an agreement that the buyer would be handed over to them by 2017, their complete flat.
Amounts were paid as per Emami’s demand between 2011 and 2017. According to the agreement, if a buyer is late in making the payment, he will have to pay 18% interest. If the real state company delays in giving the flat, then it will pay the buyer 15 percent interest. After two years of delay from 2017 to 2019, they are now being given flats with no interest payment.
