Minister of the department of tourism , information & cultures Mr Indranil Sen participating in laying stone ceremony of world label tourism centre at KMDA park at Chandannagar
Under the aegis of the tourism ministry of the State government, the foundation stone of the establishment of the international level, housing scheme ‘Alo’ in KMDA Park of Chandan Nagar was laid by Indranil Sen, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Department of the state. On this occasion, Indranil Sen said that his government, led by Mamta Banerjee, aimed to establish Chandannagar as the 1st largest tourist destination on the world map. And in this direction, his government is taking effective steps one after the other. He also informed that the state government has already announced to make Chandannagar a light hub, famous in the country and world for the workmanship of light, and this step towards making Kendama Park of Chandan Nagar a local international level tourist center. Apart from Indranil Sen, Bhadreshwar Municipality Chairman Pralaya Chakraborty, Vice Chairman Prakash Goswami, former Chandanagar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ram Chakraborty, Uttarpada Municipal Chairman Dilip Yadav and other dignitaries of the society and top officials of administration also attended the ceremony.
