Kolkata, 25th June 2023 – In a grand ceremony held at a prestigious banquet in Kolkata, the LIONS CLUB OF CALCUTTA successfully installed its new Board for the upcoming LIONISTIC session ’23-24, which will span from 1st July ’23 to 30th June ’24.

The gala event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including the International 3rd Vice President of Lions Club International, Lion AP Singh, who served as the Chief Guest and Installation Officer. The District Governor, Lion Manoj Agarwal, and the District Governor-Elect, Lion Manisha Agarwal, were also present as Guests of Honour.

The event witnessed the participation of renowned dignitaries such as Lions Saloni Salvi and LC Calcutta President Krishna Raj Gupta, who added to the honorable guest list.

The newly installed board members for the LIONS CLUB OF CALCUTTA’s Team ’23-24 are as follows:

Lion Bimal Kumar Jain: President
Kamal Kr. Jain: Secretary
Manoj Kr. Agarwal: Treasurer
Ramesh Kr. Chokhani: Vice President 1
Krishan Gopal Kejriwal: Vice President 2
Uttam Kr. Gupta: Vice President 3
Jeetendra Rampuria: Joint Secretary
Devendra Bajoria: Joint Treasurer

These individuals have taken up their respective roles with a commitment to serving the community and advancing the mission of Lions Club International.

The installation ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the LIONS CLUB OF CALCUTTA, as the board members eagerly look forward to contributing to the betterment of society during their tenure.
