Fortis Hospital, Anandapur Hosts ‘PSYCH-ED 2023’ Zonal Finals for Eastern Region
Kolkata : Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, hosted the Zonal Finals of the 7th edition of ‘PSYCH-ED, 2023,’ a national psychology quiz program. Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Varanasi, emerged as one of the 12 schools advancing to the National Finals. Out of 880 schools participating online, they secured their spot in the zonal round.
The 7th edition of ‘PSYCH-ED’ by Fortis Healthcare witnessed the participation of over 880 schools and 11,000 students from 190 Indian cities, all vying for victory. This annual psychology quiz for Class XI and XII students assesses their knowledge of psychology concepts.
Supported by G D Goenka University, Project CACA, Rupa Publications, IPN Foundation, GetAway Ice Creams, and Desserts with Lava Mobiles, the quiz was conceived and executed under Dr. Samir Parikh, Chairperson of the Fortis National Mental Health Program, Fortis Healthcare Limited.
Dr. Samir Parikh emphasized the importance of destigmatizing mental health and promoting psychology knowledge among school students. The Zonal Final winners will compete in the Grand Finale on October 27th, 2023, in Delhi.

The triumphant team from Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Varanasi, composed of Pallavi Kumari, Anshikaa Gupta, Samriddhi Nahar, and their teachers Arpit Tripathi and Poorna Majumdar, expressed their excitement about the upcoming National Finals. They credited their psychology teacher for their success.
