SOPNEY VASHI by…. Debraj Mehta. Started writing at 5years 9 months book relished when he was only 6+years old.
Debraj mehta,student of class 1, APEEJAY SCHOOL,park street ..started writing from his early age(5years 9months)..he wrote few stories and poetry too..recently his book titled SOPNEY VASHI PUBLISHED by SOMPORKER SIKOR..at the 43rd International Kolkata Book Fair at little magazine pavilion on 7th February 2019..there r 19 stories and poetries.13 stories are in English and 6 stories and poetries are in bengali….available at DHANBINDU Stall at college street. Maximum copies r sold out…even Mrs.RITA CHATERJEE,the principal ma’am of APEEJAY SCHOOL…..bought 10 copies for both of her school(for park st, and salt lake libraries )
1.show cased his art works at ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS,KOLKATA from 28th oct-4th nov.2018.at west gallery.one of his painting sold out from the gallery..
2.got 1st prize in drawing competition organised information centre. by Govt of W.B.in kolkata district..
3.got 1st prize for recitation competition from boro 6…organised by west bengal government..
4.got 1st prizes in annual sports in l.k.g and u.k.g.
5.got best achievement award for academic excellence in u.k.g.2018
6.published 2of his stories in a children’s magazine named CHUNU MUNU..
7.got few prizes in tabla playing..

2.the principal of MAHAVIR INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION AND RESEARCH,announced to honour him with a fellowship…..in coming april month,2019.
